Most architects' websites are stark, cold affairs. Michael Howells wanted a site that reflects the humanity at the heart of his business while showing off his clean, Japanese-inspired style. Rather than organize the site around the type of project, like every other architect (kitchen redesign, house addition), we brought the client to the force. The top menu elegantly moves out of the way - leaving a sliver for easy navigating - so the page content is the focus.

Michael uses the website on multiple devices to present to clients (smartphone, tablet, laptop, and large screen). We built a responsive site that features large, beautiful images on larger displays and swipeable slideshows on mobile. As the writer and business manager, Amanda needs to edit content quickly. We customized an intuitive content management system that is clear, simple, and easy to use.
