Ruggine! (AKA Pieruccini Riccardo) was born in Lucca, Italy, where he still lives and works. He attended art academy in Florence, Italy from 2000 to 2004 and contempraneusly studied comic tecnique with the author Simone Bianchi.
After the first prize in comics contest Pierlambicchi (given directly by the author John Buscema) he started the work of illustrator and comic artist. He also started to work as sketching and comics teacher at the Florence design academy.
