Making a CRM with ModelAdmin

Posted by Sigurd on 3 March 2009

ModelAdmin is a powerful new feature in SilverStripe 2.3.0 that lets developers build user-friendly web-based interfaces to manage complex, related data.

Ingo, one of the developers of the feature, recently spoke at the SuperHappyDevHouse developer event in Wellington. Resources from the talk are now online.

He provides an overview of ModelAdmin, explains how it can be used to build a CRM that tightly integrates with a SilverStripe-powered website, and shares some goals for what will come in SilverStripe 2.4.0.
