Last Wednesday, 38 people gathered at an Irish pub to have a drink. More specifically, in Wellington, 38 people came along to the SilverStripe meetup we hosted, to meet one another, listen to some speakers, and just generally immerse themselves in the community in the flesh. In case you missed it, we've got slides and videos of the speakers.

Felipe Skroski

Our creative director, Felipe Skroski, presented work in progress on the interface for SilverStripe CMS 3.0, and the process SilverStripe is following for its development.

The latest user interface design work for SilverStripe CMS 3 can be always found at: github.com/silverstripe/silverstripe-design/blob/master/Design/ , and we welcome feedback at our dev group.

Jeremy Shipman

Community member Jeremy Shipman explained the progress of an open source community-led project to improve SilverStripe's ecommerce capabilities.

Mark Stephens

Our development manager Mark Stephens discusses A/B testing in SilverStripe, as well as dynamic templates.  As he gave us a live demonstration, there are no slides, sorry!

Thanks to everyone who came along on the night, it was a great turnout and we hope you learnt something new. We're planning another Wellington meetup in June, and we'd love to know what you want to hear about. As always, get in touch through the comments, or email joanna@silverstripe.com.
