SS 2.4 Time drop down in DOM

Hi,
Has anyone had any experience getting the Time dropdown to work using the DataObjectManager Module?
After doing a little digging I understand that the Date field was updated but perhaps the Time field has not been... it's likely using dated Javascript.
I would be keen to know if anyone has implemented a fix or found a creative work around.
