Add a button shortcut in getCMSFields to create page

Does anyone have recommendations for adding a button to my getCMSFields that's essentially a shortcut for;
Clicking "Create" in left sidebar,
Choosing appropriate page type,
then clicking "Go".I'd also like to override the default title / menutitle of the page via this button (which I believe can also be done via populateDefaults()) if possible.
