Due to popular demand, we are happy to announce the first ever StripeCon Asia-Pacific, the SilverStripe community conference for developers and digital business leaders. This event is held in partnership with the popular Web-Directions conference. It is a one-day event on the 9th of November 2016 in Sydney, Australia, before the Web Directions Direction 2016 takes place on 10th and 11th November.

The future of Digital Transformation

StripeCon Asia-Pacific 2016 will gear you up for the future with a full-on schedule with talks about web trends and the latest open source innovations that accelerate Digital Transformation, as well as equip you with the knowledge and skills needed for what’s next.

There will be two streams of talks throughout the day to cater for your different interests. The first stream is focused on Digital Transformation in the public sector, highlighted with success stories in New Zealand and Australia. The second stream showcases technical talks with open source innovations and the latest developments in SilverStripe CMS/Framework.

Who should attend:

  • Developers: Deep dive into projects, where to find the open source code/modules and how to use it in your own projects. Learn about the future of SilverStripe and SilverStripe 4.

  • Digital leaders in public sector: Find out how digital transformation projects can unlock higher efficiencies, increased engagement and transparency

  • Digital leaders in commercial enterprises:  Find out how open source innovation and Agile mindsets lead to competitive advantage

Speakers already confirmed include Government and Corporate organisations from Australia and New Zealand. A call for papers is open and more speakers will be announced in the coming weeks.

For those attending both StripeCon and Web Directions, the event will conclude with the movie premiere of "What Comes Next is the Future", complete with choc-tops, popcorn and a drink or two to prepare you for the future.

Of course, you will also have plenty of opportunities to network and enjoy the amazing hospitality that Sydney has to offer.
