Files come out of the tarball will these permissions.

drwxr-x--- 5 silverstripe silverstripe 4096 2008-11-02 15:00 nature
$ ls -l nature
drwxr-x--- 2 silverstripe silverstripe 4096 2009-03-23 02:36 css
drwxr-x--- 2 silverstripe silverstripe 4096 2009-03-23 02:36 images
drwxr-x--- 4 silverstripe silverstripe 4096 2009-03-23 02:36 templates

They don't have x or r for other users, like the apache default www-data

Frustrating when installing a new theme to see php errors for scandir() failures. I need to chmod them all to be readable by apache.
How about fixing the perms in the tar balls to be less restrictive?

Duly Noted. I don't know if we generate the tar.gz or if we just take what the user submits (we do extract and check the themes automagically on the server) but I will check it out and make sure we check the permissions.
