The SilverStripe core committers' most recent public hangout, and the first of 2017, was held on the 8th of March.

The team

The "core committers" team consists of SilverStripers in the open source community. We have "write" permissions to our codebase. The makeup of team members is reviewed approximately annually, based on their quality contributions to SilverStripe code and outstanding community participation.

Regularly, the team catch up via Google hangout, which is live-streamed. The scheduled hangouts are pre-set on our youtube channel and announced via our twitter and facebook. You can join in and watch them live.

On the hangout of the 8th March, we discussed:

  • Voting in of Chris Joe as a new core member
  • Ingo presented updates on our next SilverStripe 4 release: beta1
  • Core team "health check" on members
