The wait for the new SilverStripe.org site is nearly over!

The SilverStripe team have been busy working on a redevelopment of the silverstripe.org website. The time is fast approaching for the launch so we thought we would give you a heads up on a few things to be aware of.

  • In approximately 2 weeks time (a more concrete date to follow), we will be doing the content migration and launch of the new website. During migration, the current silverstripe.org website will be unavailable for a number of hours.
  • After this time, your current SilverStripe developer account will work as usual (and it would be a good time to go update your developer profile).
  • Your showcases will still be part of your profile and we will be releasing a new featured showcase section.
  • The developer network has been renamed to the ‘developer directory’ based on user feedback. Again it will be a good time to go and review your listing.

Keep an eye on the SilverStripe blog, Twitter and Facebook over the next couple of weeks for more updates and specific details.

We are looking forward to getting the new site live and will continue to release improvements over time. This is to ensure the new silverstripe.org a great place for the SilverStripe community now and into the future.
