My general feeling as I'm just starting a project and considered many CMS is that the time I would spend looking for documentation for silverstripe would be offset by the degree to which I could focus on my code. other systems (drupal) have better docs and books, but I didn't want to waste my time with great documentation of stuff I don't want to know.

Still...more than one book would be nice!
