On what basis a developer or a client should decide whether Silverstripe CMS would be a better CMS as compared to other opensource CMS like Wordpress, Joomla or Drupal.

As a developer I choose silverstripe for it's nice code (OO, MVC, ORM, templating etc) and the CMS is easy and logical to use.

Ultimately it depends on what you intended to develop with it...
