The Ian Potter Moving Image Commission

by Wolf Interactive

Mobile view

The Ian Potter Moving Image Commission is Australia’s most significant long-term commissioning programme of new contemporary moving image art by Australian artists.

Situation

The Ian Potter Moving Image Commission enables a mid-career artist to produce an ambitious new work which demonstrates a significant development or shift in their practice. Projects must have a gallery-based outcome.

Through the partners, the Commission provides two levels of support to the successful artist: they receive $100,000 from The Ian Potter Cultural Trust, as well as highly specialised curatorial, production and presentation expertise provided by ACMI.

Solution

Wolf developed a fully responsive website for IPMIC with a sophisticated, large-format design to reflect the commission’s truly unique grantmaking philosophy.  The site utilises the SilverStripe CMS platform.

Furthermore, the site seamlessly showcases the current commission created by Artist Daniel Crooks titled ‘Phantom Ride’ as well as providing timely news and information.
