Ljubljana is becoming an increasingly popular destination for visitors from all over the world. The Visit Ljubljana website brings the spirit of Slovenia’s capital closer to visitors even before they get here, helping them with individual stages of their trip, from finding inspiration, researching and planning. In addition to general tourism-related content, it offers three separate pages for congress tourism and meetings, for travel organisers and tour operators, and for the media. The redesigned website features, among other things, a revamped visual appearance, an improved user experience, refreshed content, and a simplified editorial workflow.

All information at users’ fingertips

The aim of the website redesign was to improve the user experience, regardless of the device used to access the website, and to redesign the website’s visual appearance (UI) in line with the latest web design trends. We have upgraded the website content in a way that makes it more efficient in answering the question “Why choose Ljubljana?”. We have also simplified the site editing workflow, which is now based on modular themed website creation and use of tags.
