Project background

Te Auaha is the creative branch of WelTec and Whitireia and is Wellington’s newest learning institute for applied creativity. Nestled in the heart of Wellington, Te Auaha is a $70 million development which brings together film, photography, creative design,music, media, journalism, creative writing, and more.

The goal of the project was to design and build easily maintainable websites that delivered the best user experiences for students. The desired outcomes of the new sites were to increase enrolments and drive engagement to both Whitireia and Te Auaha. Thoughtful additions to both websites now allow Whitireia staff to cross publish and manage content to the new Te Auaha site, resulting in a leaner approach to running multiple sites.
